Floaty (BE-3R) was part of a private exercise project after Substance Painter was released. Modeled and rigged in Maya, textured in Substance Painter and set up for rendering in Maya with 3Delight.
The rig is quite complex and has got many auto functions (e.g. wave animations for the arms, stretchable/squashable arms, auto blinking visor/eyelid, fluid system that reacts to the speed of movement, height above the ground, auto floating motion, etc.).
